AMC stock board sets record date for 2:3 free shares: details inside

Escorp Asset Management Ltd, as its name suggests, is an asset management company with a market capitalization of 13.67 cr. At a meeting held on June 10, 2022, the board of directors of Escorp Asset Management Ltd. approved the issue of free shares 2:3. Recently, the board of directors of the company fixed the date of registration of the free shares in order to determine the eligibility of the shareholders for the purposes of the same.

The company’s board of directors said in an exchange filing that “in accordance with Regulation 42(2) and (3) of the SEBI (Registration and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, this is inform that the company has set Monday, July 25, 2022 as the record date for the purposes of determining the eligibility of shareholders for the issuance of free shares on the basis of 3 (three) fully paid shares for 2 (two) shares fully paid shares held subject to shareholder approval which is obtained through the postal ballot process.”

This ratio is an indicator that a stock may be undervalued by compared to competitors including HDFC AMC, Muthoot Finance, Bajaj Holdings, SBI Cards and Bajaj Finserv.
